On the bench we have some heat exchangers off a Perkins. These are vital to keeping your engine or generator cool and healthy. If one of these small pipes gets a pin hole or breaks it can lead to a loss of coolant, oil, or even fuel.

To prevent this, we recommend at least every other year a good servicing of these heat exchangers, where they are cleaned inspected, pressure-tested, and rebuilt with new gaskets.
