Make sure you’re protected. We’ve got the team to make sure your boat is ready to go this season!

Zinc Replacement
Whether they are protecting your prop, your cooling system or your entire hull (we’re looking at you steel boats in our fleet), zincs are easy to overlook. Have no fear though because we can get new zincs installed for you in no time.

Why is it important?
Zinc anodes are the sacrificial anodes made of zinc or aluminum that are attached to a ships hull. They work by corroding instead of the hull, providing protection against corrosion. Zinc anodes are a critical component of a cathodic protection system.

How often should I replace my anodes?
The lifespan of a zinc anode can vary based on the water conditions, the frequency of use, and the specific location of the anode. Therefore, sacrificial anodes should be inspected regularly and replaced when they are significantly corroded.
